CIS agricultural forum will be held in Ashkhabad from 26th to 27th of November. Its goal is to further encourage the development of cooperation between CIS states in the sphere of agriculture and to increase food supply security. Forum organizing committee is headed personally by the president of Turkmenia, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Russia combine production is presented by Rostselmash.

XVI International Agroindustrial Forum “Yugagro-2009” was held in the Exibition Center “KrasnodarExpo” from 17th to 20th of November. Rostselmash was awarded six Diplomas for designing, producing and entering into the market of high-performance energy-efficient and resource-saving machinery. The jury highly appreciated rotor combine TORUM 740, tractor VERSATILE 400, self-propelled harvesting unit ES 1 and forage equipment. Rostselmash exposition was visited by Alexander Tkachev, Governor of the Krasnodar region.

Combine harvesters Don-1500B, ACROS and VECTOR manufactured by Rostselmash have acquired the status of The 2009 Best Agricultural Machines. Results of The 2009 Best Agricultural Machine Contest held at the initiative of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture were reviewed within the framework of the Zolotaya Osen' (Golden Fall) Show. Krestyanskie Vedomosti media-group and Society of Agricultural Machinery Test Drivers (SAMTD) have surveyed Russian landowners within the context of this project.

Rostselmash company is going to take a large-scale part at the Year's Major Show “Agrosalon-2009”. Rostselmash exhibit will occupy over 2000 square meters for presentation of 18 agricultural units. A world premier is expected during  Agrosalon-2009 Show: for the first time Rostselmash is going to show newly-designed product of the year 2009 — 400 hp tractor VERSATILE.

Today Rostselmash turned 80 years old. On July 21, 1929 the first five workshops out of 18 planned were started up. Production of county carts, dump rakes, tractor ploughs and seeders was commenced and the first finished products were shipped.

Rostselmash has started to equip combines with GPS auto-driving systems. The first combine ACROS 530 equipped with such system underwent tests and was demonstrated to journalists. Grain combine with “autopilot” may work on the field on a desired route with minimal operator's involvement. Automatic driving system consists of GPS receiver, direction indicator unit and steering assistance device. The system is presumed to be optionally installed on grain combines VECTOR, ACROS and TORUM. Possibility to operate on both GPS and GLONASS signals is being considered.

Rostselmash has started to produce Canadian tractors VERSATILE on the territory of the combine factory in Rostov-on-Don. VERSATILE production range consists of 3 series: HHT (435–535 hp), 2000 series (335–375 hp) and Genesis (196–278 hp). It is planned to produce over 200 units in 2009 and as a long-term prospect to bring localization of tractor production up to 50% by 2015.

Rostselmash has produced the first production rotor combine TORUM based on fundamentally new rotor threshing and separating device named ARS (Advance Rotor System). During the international innovation contest held in Paris this system was awarded the silver medal. In 2009 Rostselmash is planning to produce over 200 rotor combines TORUM most of which have already found their customers.

Within the next few days Rostselmash is going to commence active stuff recruitment among inhabitants of Rostov-on-Don. New vacancies became available due to the increase of combine annual production by 12% and return to full working week.
