ROSTSELMASH signed an agreement with the regional authorities and threw light on the process of manufacturing of the harvester ACROS |
Today the administration of the Rostov region, the administration of Rostov-on-Don, the Industrial Association «Novoe Sodruzestvo» and its constituent enterprises «Rostselmash», «Empils» «Morozovskselmash» signed the agreement on socioeconomic partnership for the year 2007.
The governor of the Rostov region Vladimir Chub, the chief-deputy of the municipal administration Sergey Manakov, the head of theadministration of Morozovsk district Peter Trishechkin took part at the agreement signing ceremony. The chairman of the board of directors of the Industrial Association «Novoe Sodruzestvo», the Director General of the «Rostselmash» company Valery Maltsev, the Director General of the group of companies «Empils» Vyacheslav Beloborodov, the Director General of the company «Morozovskselmash» Vladimir Zakamskov represented the Association at the ceremony. The vice-governor of the region Sergey Nazarov and the Minister of Energy of the region Sergey Mikhalev also attended the event.
The agreement on socioeconomic partnership specifies general principles of interrelationship between the municipal and the regional administrations, the industrial enterprises and their proprietor. The first similar document was signed in 2002. Following the Industrial Association «Novoe Sodruzestvo», most of the big enterprises of the region signed the similar documents.
Before the ceremony, Vladimir Chub told that the regional administration saw positive performance of activity of the Industrial Association in the region while reviewing the results of execution of the agreement: «I mean salaries and the number of employees. Thereby, the number of people living in the region and working at all the enterprises of the Industrial Association has not only increased but is also receiving a high salary. Hence, tax deductions have exceeded the planned value. As for the investment policy focused on reconstruction of a new equipment, it is being realized to the full extent».
The present agreement defined a common interest area in the sphere of socio-economic development of the region, provision of productivity progress, strengthening of social foundation of the enterprises. Obligations of the parties are specified in the manifesto as well.
So, according to the agreement, the Industrial Association «Novoe Sodruzestvo» rend substantial aid in realization of some social and charity programs. Assistance in organization of public services and amenities in accordance with the program «Your House», as well as support of sporting events and sport associations are the most demonstrative services.. This year, the practice is kept. For instance, the Industrial Association has given 10 million rubles for sponsor support for the handball club and restoration of the handball club «Olymp» and 4,8 million rubles for support of the regional Federation of mountain climbing and rock climbing».
Moreover, some funds are allocated for assistance to the Childrens Chess school and the childrens tennis team of the Rostov region, as well as for carrying out of events in the context of execution of environmental programs in the region
Being the part of the Industrial Association «Novoe Sodruzestvo», the Rostselmash company has executed its obligations under the Agreement for the year 2006 as for investment of 380 million rubles for production modernization and technical retooling. Development, testing and production start-up of the new high production harvester ACROS 530 have been realized due to this investment. Presentation of the new harvester took place in the course of the visit of the delegations of the regional and municipal administration to production departments of the Rostselmash.
In the course of the presentation, the harvester ACROS was blessed by Panteleymon the arch-prelate of Rostov and Novocherkassk.
As for the social policy, Rostselmash has exceeded its commitments concerning provision of an appropriate average salary level by 12% of the value specified under the Agreement. In 2006 the average salary amounted to 10851 rubles. Rostselmash is obligated to guarantee the average salary level of 11400 rubles under the Agreement for the year 2007 signed today. According to results of April 2007, the average salary level is equal to 15100 rubles.
The administration of the region in its turn rendered its assistance to growers of agricultural produce of the region in purchasing agricultural equipment and spare parts of Rostselmash. Last year more than 60 harvesters of the company were purchased under the governors leasing plan. In general, farms of the Rostov region have received 1163 units of Rostselmash equipment over the last 5 years due to the convenient purchase scheme.
The municipal administration has also provided certain assistance. Programs of training and professional improvement for production workers and management personnel were realized together with the municipal employment service. For the moment, development of the educational and industrial consortium for organization of a constant professional training is in progress.
Today public authorities and representatives of Big Business proved their intentions to carry out their social and economic policies in favor of enterprises and labor collectives of the Rostov region, prepare and take measures oriented to increase in production, personnel development, raising of living standards of employees and attainment of leadership in its industry sector.
The Director-General of the Industrial Association «Novoe Sodruzestvo» Konstantin Babkin made a comment addressed to the regional authorities: «Weve been working in Rostov for 9 years. For the moment our enterprises are national leaders in their industry sectors. Their success is attributed to realization of competent and balanced economic policy in the region. As for us, we try to execute the obligations we assume.»
