All modern models of Rostselmach grain harvesters were in full recognized as compliant with international standards after receiving certificates of conformity to safety regulations of European Union and the right to label products with the mark ��.

At instigation of Rostselmach three models of machines have at once taken part in certification test. This certification test was carried out by SZZPLS — Czech state entity (Prague) specialized in tests of agricultural and forest machinery, accredited in ��. Documents delivered by the Czech test station are recognized in all states – members of Europea Community.

The certification test of Rostselmach harvesters was carried out in two aspects. The first aspect was consisted in confirmation of harvester compliance as a agricultural machine with safety requirements according to EC Norms based on Directive № 98/37/��. The second aspect provided the permit for public roads traffic. Measurement of electromagnetic compatibility, noise and vibration on the operator’s position was made, control elements location and required force were estimated, other tests were carried out. On many parameters, such as noise, vibration on the operator’s position and others, harvesters of Rostselmach have shown values, which are below of maximum permissible European norms. The specialists of SZZPLS have highly appreciated the modern harvester cabin in point of ergonomics.

Rostselmach has received its first certificate for harvester VECTOR, which tests were completed in June, 2007. In October of the last year the enterprise has received protocols of the tests and conformity certificate for ACROS. To date, the document confirming certification test for rotary harvester RSM 181 is also received. «In the context of safety these harvesters are compliant with standards», — said the director of SZZPLS Ladislav Barda.

The obtaining of official confirmation of products conformance to European standards requirements offers to Rostselmach a supplementary opportunity to develop its presence in states – members of European Community. During last agricultural year Rostselmach has extended sales geography from 13 to 17 countries. Among them: Canada, Bulgaria, Poland, Serbia and Montenegro, Mongolia, Romania, Armenia, the Baltic states.
